Canada Street will soon be filled with festive, decorated Jeeps as the Village of Lake George prepares to host the annual Winter Carnival Jeep Parade. The Village is excited to welcome participants and spectators for this popular tradition taking place on the first Saturday of Winter Carnival weekend.

The 2026 Lake George Winter Carnival Jeep Parade will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (note the updated time). The parade is a Jeep-only event featuring street-legal vehicles operated by licensed drivers who will follow all standard vehicle and traffic laws.

Parade Route and Lineup Information

The parade will begin at Betty Little Boulevard and proceed down Canada Street before concluding at Marine Village Resort. Participants will line up on Betty Little Boulevard and Westbrook Road, as needed, prior to the start of the procession.

The Jeep Parade has become a signature Winter Carnival event, drawing crowds eager to see creatively decorated vehicles and celebrate the winter season in the Village of Lake George.

Traffic Detours During the Parade

South Detour Route:
Motorists traveling south on Canada Street will be directed to turn right onto Mountain Drive, then left onto Ottawa Street. Drivers will continue along Ottawa Street and Dieskau Street before turning right onto Sewell Street. From Sewell Street, traffic will bear left onto Gage Road, then turn left onto Birch Avenue and right back onto Canada Street.

North Detour Route:
Motorists traveling north on Canada Street will be directed to turn left onto Birch Avenue, then right onto Gage Road. Traffic will continue straight onto Sewell Street, turn left onto Dieskau Street, follow Dieskau Street and Ottawa Street, turn right onto Mountain Drive, and then return to Canada Street.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office will be present to direct traffic at Route 9 and Westbrook Road during the parade. There will be no additional road closures associated with this event.
